(CNN) – The most important US service community on Thursday suspended using Twitter to submit service alerts, saying the “reliability of the platform can not be assured.”
The metropolitan transit authority, which serves 15.3 million commuters within the 8,000-square-kilometer area surrounding New York Metropolis, Lengthy Island, New York state and Connecticut, stated its entry to Twitter by its API had been inadvertently lower off twice prior to now two weeks.
